My name is Lieutenant Colonel Brenda D. Pullen (Retired) serviced in the Army 28 years has always had a desire to come back to a Junior Reserve Officer Training Corp (JROTC) Program bringing back my experience this is how I got my start. The way I’m planning on giving back within Brookheavn High School is taking the Army JROTC mission which is "Teaching Young Students How To Become Better Citizens" then implement.
Before I can teach young students how to become better citizens I must love children have a strong classroom management plan in place. My overall classroom management plans are as follow: 1) Organize the classroom; 2) Establish a positive classroom climate; 3) Teach rules and procedures; 4) Develop student accountability; 5) Maintain good student behavior; 6) Plan and organize instruction; 7) Conduct instruction and maintain momentum. Finally in order to fulfill the Army JROTC mission all involved must have a strong line of communication to include the parents and students.
