Hello and welcome to a new year at Brookhaven High School!  I have over fourteen years of college-level English teaching experience that includes teaching first and second year writing along with upper-level business and professional writing courses and basic writing at Louisiana State University, the University of Arizona, and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. My strengths include creating a rigorous student-centered learning environment, working successfully with students of various developmental levels and backgrounds, and developing strong relationships with all students so they are able to invest in their learning experiences. Currently I teach English IV and Dual Enrollment/English Comp I & II.
