Thursday - awards day for seniors followed by picnic and awards night for under class-men. 

Exams - All Students

Friday - 1st and 2nd block exams at 8 and 9:40

Monday - 3rd and 4th block exams at 8 and 9:40




Seniors who earned MS Scholars can add 1 day to formula

Students with NO discipline or on the Panther Pride list for March and April may add 1 day for each month they earned one or the other (not both in one month).


Full Credit classes

A - 4 abs or less, 3 or fewer step 2 infractions

B - 3 abs or less, 2 or fewer step 2 infractions

C - 2 abs or less, 1 or fewer step 2 infractions


Half Credit classes

A - 3 abs or less, 3 or fewer step 2 infractions

B - 2 abs or less, 2 or fewer step 2 infractions

C - 1 abs or less, 1 or fewer step 2 infractions



Graduation information has been posted in a separate announcement.


The cost for the cap & gown only is $85. Please be aware that only tassels provided by BHS and only BHS and Vo-tech honor chords may be worn at graduation.


Tennis tryouts will be May 20-21 @ Brookhill from 3:45 – 5. Applications are in attendance office.


Cross Country Tryouts are Monday, May 13th at 3:45 at the Sports Complex


YEARBOOKS are in -- if you PREORDERED a book it can be picked up anytime between 7:30 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. OR during 4th block in Mrs Sproles' room #228  - pick up now is for PREORDERED books ONLY. After those books have been distributed any extra copies will be available for sale for $70, CASH, and first come first serve. The sale time for any extra copies will be announced AFTER the preordered books have been distributed.


SENIORS: Pick up your proof picture that you turned in for use in the book and your baby picture if you submitted one. BEFORE school, during 1st block or 4th block only (also in Mrs. Sproles' room 228)


BHS students have a Bible Study every Monday morning at 7:40 in the library. Anyone interested may attend.


A limited number of last year’s yearbooks are still available. See Mrs. Sproles for details.


FCA – Fellowship of Christian Athletes meets Friday morning before school in the library. All students are invited. (Not just athletes.)


Be sure to check our website regularly for the most up to date information.



No students are allowed in the building before 7:20


Students hanging out in the morning be sure trash is disposed of properly. Free time before school is a privilege be sure to treat it accordingly.


Bus lane is a one way street with entry from Monticello St.


Student drivers be sure to park and come in the building. You may not hang out in the parking lot.


Bus riders must stay on campus once you have arrived.


The street between the HS and the cemetery is closed during school hours.


Any food brought for a student lunch must be out of the packaging if it contains a business logo.


Students should not be leaving the cafeteria with open food and drink containers.  


Students leaving campus after 3rd block, walkers have right of way.


Bus riders be sure you are at the bus zone and watching for you bus immediately following school.


Once a student is checked out (by parent or on permanent checkout out list) you must leave campus immediately
