Monday:
-Finalize resume and application and publish.
Tuesday:
Discuss the interview process. Watch videos: Interviewing Tips for High School Students and Young Adults, High School Graduate Job Interview | Call Center Simulation
Wednesday:
Discuss questions that are asked at interviews. Students will have a mock interview and answer questions accordingly.
Thursday:
Create academic and personal S.M.A.R.T. goals for the current school year through high school graduation, postsecondary education, and the attainment of the desired career.
1. Discuss reasons for setting goals.
2. Identify and discuss each part of a S.M.A.R.T. goal.
3. Write S.M.A.R.T. goals that align with the current Individual Success Plan (ISP).
4. Identify action steps that will lead to the achievement of created S.M.A.R.T. goals.
5. Create a mission statement that reflects created S.M.A.R.T. goals.
