School Physicals

SCHOOL PHSYICALS:

Physical day has been set for February 1st. All 9th-11th graders and 12th graders that are playing a spring sport will need to get a physical on that day.  All students getting a physical must have a current Dragonfly account.  The directions for getting a Dragonfly account are on the website and will be on the packets the coaches will be passing out this week.

We will begin playing Varsity Girls Volleyball in the 20-21 school year. All girls interested in trying out for next year's volleyball team will need to get a physical on February 1st as well.

It is time for yearly athletic physicals for Brookhaven Schools’ student athletes at Alexander Junior High and Brookhaven High School. (Lipsey students will receive free physicals in May.) KDMC will be providing this year’s physicals free of charge on Saturday, February 1, 2020.  Students are not allowed to be dropped off at KDMC to receive their physicals.  They must report to the appropriate school first. In order to receive a free physical each student must meet the following requirements:

  1. The student and parent must have their own individual Dragonfly accounts. (See district website announcement for attachments and directions on how to set up a PLAYER and a separate PARENT account. If a student sets up an account during the 2019-20 school year they do not have to set up a new account. There are different directions for Alexander Junior High and Brookhaven High School students. Please make sure you are creating an account at the appropriate school.)

  1. The student must have the attached Medical History and Consent forms filled out and SIGNED by the parent/guardian. Do not fill out the Physical Examination form. The physician will fill it out.

If your child does not receive a free physical on February 1st, you will have to arrange for a personal physical at another time.  All student-athletes must have a completed physical packet on file with the BSD before they will be allowed to participate in any athletic practices or events.

If you have any questions please call Athletic Director Tommy Clopton at 601.833.4498.
