GRADUATION – VIRTUAL AND RESCHEDULED DATE

Seniors we are working within the guidelines we have been given to honor your hard work and acheivement on our originally scheduled graduation date. May 22^nd at 7 p.m. we plan to release a virtual graduation online. We have also scheduled a traditional graduation ceremony for Friday, June 19^th if conditions allow.

Virtual Graduation - We have developed a plan to get you all in and get pictures in your caps and gowns. Please follow the directions below and be on time and ready to take a picture (dressed). Failure to dress appropriately or be on time (without making prior arrangements) may result in your picture not being in the virtual ceremony.

DRESS CODE: No shorts may be worn. Ladies wear a school appropriate dark dress or dark colored pants and dark colored shoes. Gentlemen dark colored pants and dark colored shoes. Shirts should be solid and dark colored as well for both. No bulky clothing that will make your gown appear misshapen. No sunglasses or head coverings may be worn. Caps may not be decorated. Caps are meant to be perfectly flat on your head not tilted. Tassels go to the right.

Below is a chart with your name and the date and time you will need to be at BHS dance studio. You will need to in the hall with your cap and gown on and picture ready. I know we all miss each other but social distancing will need to be maintained for everyone’s safety.

PROCEDURE: Park on the street in the bus lane (use both sides). Enter BHS through the double doors at bus stop. A staff member will be there to direct you to a marked spot. These will be separated by appropriate guidelines. You will be lined up down the hall in a marked area and we will call for you to enter the dance studio. You will come in and pose for your picture and let Mr. Martin know how to correctly pronounce your name. Once completed you will exit out the back of the dance studio and return to your car to leave. No guests or parents will be in the dance studio unless you have a student that requires special needs assistance.
