Both Basketball teams are in the tournament in Jackson tonight and later in the week at Provine. Good luck Panthers!
Congratulations to the Band members – Percussion - 1st Place, Winds – 3rd Place, Winterguard – 7th Place. The indoor winds was their first competition and only began rehearsing the performance 2 months ago. Good job Panthers!
Soccer banquet is tonight (2/13/17) at 6:30 and will be at the FEMA building.
BHS will be hosting an ACT bootcamp for all our Juniors this week. We encourage everyone to be an active participant and take full advantage of this opportunity. The bootcamp will be scheduled during the school day. All teachers have a copy of the assigned times for students to attend.

Students planning on taking an AP exam should talk to your AP teacher and come by and see Mrs. Risher to pay. Deadline to order all AP exams is March 21.
After school detention will be held in room 230 – Mrs. Seals for the remainder of this nine weeks.
Juniors who are interested in pre-med are encouraged to apply for the Mississippi State University Rural Medical Scholars summer program. Students who are accepted will take two college-level pre-med courses at a very limited cost. In order to apply you must have a minimum composite ACT score of 24. The completed application packet must be completed by March 20, 2017. Please see your counselor to learn about the application process. A flyer is also posted at the attendance clerk’s office.
FCA meets on Friday mornings at 7:30 in the library. Everyone is welcome to attend.

ACT REMINDERS: Students taking the ACT - reminder to bring the following items:
Your admission ticket with your photo on it
A valid picture ID (cannot be expired)
A calculator
Pencils
After parking in the morning you may not hang out in parking lot or in your car. You must come on to campus. Once on campus you may not leave.
Reminder: The road between the high school and cemetery is closed during the school day. No traffic or deliveries are to be made through that road.
