After school detention will be held in the gym this week w/ Coach Wilson. Detention will be Monday and Tuesday only this week.
Seniors would like to have a class meeting tomorrow – Tuesday, 4/11 in the auditorium at 7:50 am.

Congratulations Antonio Dillon. In the track meet at Pearl this past Friday ran the 1600m in 4:40 and the 800m in 2:05.
BHS Competed at Co-Lin Science quest 11 schools were represented by 70 of the top students in Co-Lin’s 7 county area. The students competed in the areas of biology, chemistry, and physics.

Top 50% have an avg. ACT score of 21.885

Kiss a Senior Goodbye fundraiser is happening now. Purchase a paper shaped like a kiss for $1 from any Student Council member. Write a school appropriate message to any senior to hang in the hallway in the main building. These will be given to seniors in May.
Senior Grad products will be delivered Thursday, 4/13. Balance must be paid in full to pick up your items.
APEX LEADERSHIP SUMMIT: Junior class officers and Junior student council members interested in attending the Apex Leadership Summit at Ole Miss should see Mrs. Durr this morning (4/3/17). Participants will experience leadership development, team building, ethics and social responsibility and problem solving. Deadline to apply is April 13th.

If anyone is interested in donating a used baseball or softball glove to the Dr. A.L. Lott baseball program we have a donation box in Mr. Martin’s office. These gloves will go to a local child here in our community.
Prom tickets sale starts today 3/20 in Mrs. Johnson's office. $15 per ticket OR seniors can pay $20 per ticket which includes 2 parent tickets (Only seniors are eligible for parent tickets). Only juniors/seniors can buy tickets and must tell who their date will be. Prior approval of date is required if the date is below 11th grade or from another school. Letters with prom information and approval forms for dates are available on the BHS website or on the shelf in Mr. Martin’s office.
After school detention will be held in room 230 – Mrs. Seals for the remainder of this nine weeks.
FCA meets on Friday mornings at 7:30 in the library. Everyone is welcome to attend.

ACT REMINDERS: Students taking the ACT - reminder to bring the following items:
Your admission ticket with your photo on it
A valid picture ID (cannot be expired)
A calculator
Pencils
After parking in the morning you may not hang out in parking lot or in your car. You must come on to campus. Once on campus you may not leave.
Reminder: The road between the high school and cemetery is closed during the school day. No traffic or deliveries are to be made through that road.
