BHS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
• REMINDER: Cell phones should be off and out of sight during school hours (8-3:20)

• Please send any student council or prom committee members to Mrs. Barry - Rm 218 during homeroom today (December 14) and tomorrow (December 15)

• Lunch and Breakfast for exam week will be Manager’s choice.

• Choir Christmas Concert for Tuesday, December 12th HAS BEEN MOVED to Monday, December 18th.

• DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF STUDENTS W/ ILLNESSES WE WILL ADD 2 DAYS TO EACH LEVEL OF EXEMPTION. See Announcement “EXAM SCHEDULE & EXEMPTION POLICY UPDATED FOR TERM 2” for details about exams.

• There is a checkout sheet available at the attendance office beginning Tuesday, December 12, 2017 for parents wanting to sign out their student for next week’s exams.

• BHS Football & Cheer Banquet is Monday, December 18th at 6:30 at FEMA Bldg. Tickets are $12 at Central Office until 3pm on Wednesday, December 13th.

• Juniors interested in the Lott Leadership Institute will need to submit an application. Requirements for participation are 3.2 GPA, Good discipline and academic standing, and school approval. Dates for Session 1 are May 27-June 29. Session 2 is June 24-July 27. If you can not make these dates then you will not be eligible.

• The pageant will be February 3 in the BHS auditorium. Girls interested in participating can pick a form up from Coach Vinson in room 229.

• YEARBOOK order forms are at the FRONT OFFICE WINDOW or the LIBRARY (return these with payment to Mrs. Sproles in the Library) ... OR ... order online at jostensyearbooks.com

• SENIOR ad information will be sent home sometime later this Fall.

• REMINDERS:
• Student drivers be sure to park and come in the building. You may not hang out in the parking lot.
o Bus riders must stay on campus once you have arrived.
o The street between the HS and the cemetery is closed during school hours.
o Any food brought for a student lunch must be out of the packaging if it contains a business logo.
o Students leaving campus after 3rd block, walkers have right of way.

• ACT vouchers have arrived. 11th and 12th grade students interested in receiving a free voucher should check with their counselor to see if they qualify.

• After School Detention will be held upstairs in Ms. Seals in room# 230 from 3:25-3:45.

• Students should not be leaving the cafeteria with open food and drink containers.

• No students are allowed in the building before 7:20
