Early Release is a term referring to the practice of schools allowing students who have earned most of their graduation credits to leave campus for part of the school day to work in the community during their senior year.

Meet the Panthers will take place August 11th at 6PM on King Field. Click on the link for more info.

Senior Night Out will be on August 7, 2023 at 5:30PM. We will begin in the BHS auditorium with an informative assembly and then allow students to rotate to different booths to get more information regarding senior year!

Freshmen Orientation will be on August 3, 2023 at 6:00PM. We will begin in the BHS auditorium with a brief informative assembly and then allow students to rotate to their classes to meet their teachers.

Senior Portraits will be held July 17th through 21st, 2023. Students will receive a letter in the mail with all the information needed for their appointment. Please reach out to MS School Pictures at 601-936-6847 with any questions you may have or if you do not receive a letter.

BHS Summer Office Hours are Monday - Thursday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, closed 12:00-1:00 for lunch, Friday from 8:00 am to 11:00 am.

Brookhaven School District Child Nutrition is excited to be offering the Summer Food Service Program during June 2023. Free meals for kids 18 and under. Meals will be available at Mamie Martin Elementary, Lipsey School, and Alexander Jr. High.
June 5th -29th, Monday - Thursday.
Breakfast: 7:30am - 8:30am
Lunch: 11:00am - 12:30pm.

Graduation practice will be Thursday, May 25 at 9:00am in the BHS Auditorium. Graduation day, Friday, May 26, graduates will meet in the BHS auditorium at 5:00pm SHARP.
