About the Teacher

Welcome to Art at BHS! I am looking forward to having an awesome year. Here's a bit of information about me. I am Mrs. J. Seals. I am a graduate of Brookhaven High School and have been a teacher here at BHS for 18 years. I am married and I have a 11 year old son, Veries Seals IV. I attended Belhaven College where I earned my Bachelors of Art in Fine Art. I have studied painting for over 20 years and specialize in portrait painting. At Brookhaven High School, I teach Art I, Art II, and assist with the homecoming production and prom. I love teaching and exposing my students to beautiful and amazing art work by artist from the past and by young up and coming artists. The Brookhaven School District is awesome! I could not imagine being any other place.  ---- Go Panthers! #WAOB ----
