The State of Mississippi has purchased databases of information from periodicals, books and other published materials that are valuable to students at all grade levels from elementary to college.  This comprehensive source of information is available to students at home as well as at school (password is available in the library). 

Students who learn to use this site competently will gain valuable research experience for college.

Sign in using the school's code then select High School Databases.

For Magazine and Newspaper Articles

1.  Browse EBSCO databases using the Explora search bar.        

2.  Refine your results by publication date, full text, or source type.     

3.  Once you access an article, you have the option to save it to your Google Drive, print it, or email it to yourself.

4.  To cite your source, click on the cite tool and choose your preferred style (ex. APA or MLA).  If you print or email the article, you will also have the option of including the citation information with your document.
