2022 Graduation Schedule

Graduation practice will be Thursday, May 26 at 9:00am in the BHS Auditorium. Graduation day, Friday, May 27, graduates will meet in the BHS auditorium at 5:00pm SHARP. Graduation Ceremony will start @ 7:00pm on King Field. Please click on link for more details including dress code.

2022-2023 Student Registration Information

The Brookhaven School District will return to its regular registration and residency verification process for the 2022-2023 school year. We will once again utilize the "One-Stop-Shop" method to verify residency and complete registration for both new and returning students. One-Stop-Shop will take place at Lipsey Middle School. Please see link for more info, including dates and times.

BHS Choir Auditions

Choir auditions will take place after school on April 28th and April 29th. You may audition as a solo or as a small group. Group auditions are encouraged! You may sing any song you would like for 30 seconds. Each audition will only last about 5 minutes. Sign-up sheets are posted outside Mr. Bridges door.

ACT for Sophomores

Sophomores will be taking the ACT on Tuesday, April 26th. Students will need to report to their designated rooms for testing by 8am. Testing will start promptly at 8am, so please do not be late. Click on the link for ACT room assignments.

2022 Carl D. Holloway Scholarship Application and Information

The Carl D. Holloway Scholarship Committee plans to award a scholarship to a senior who will meet the qualifications listed. Must be attending a college or university by September 2022, must submit an essay on "How Education Can Enhance the Vision for My Community", and must have a GPA of 2.5 or above. Applications must be received by FRIDAY, APRIL 22, 2022. Please click on link for application and more information.

W.L. Roach Scholarship

Criteria for scholarship:
• BHS graduating seniors must have a 2.5 or better GPA in order to apply
• Essay of 500 words describing a hardship the senior overcame and the financial need to continue education must be submitted by April 22nd
• Essays will be judged by a committee selected by the principal to determine scholarship winner
• Check for $1,000 will be sent to the institution of higher learning where student will enroll
• Scholarship winner will be honored at Senior Awards Day
