BHS/Co-Lin Dual Credit Sign Up Day
Due to delay in the late start of the 2020-2021 school year, there will be a Dual Credit Sign Up Day on Monday, August 10th from 9:00-12:00 at the high school for students enrolled in English Comp I and/or College Algebra.
Brookhaven High School students may earn college credit through participation in the Dual Enrollment/Dual Credit program at Copiah Lincoln Community College provided he/she:
· Has earned fourteen (14) core Carnegie units OR has a 30 composite ACT score.
· Has maintained a minimum overall GPA-3.0 on a 4.0 scale on high school courses as documented by an official high school transcript
· Received an unconditional written recommendation from their high school principal and/or guidance counselor.
Students enrolled in English Composition and College Algebra are required to meet the college placement criteria for enrollment in those courses. These criteria are as follows:
· English Composition I: ACT English sub-score 17
· College Algebra: ACT Math sub-score 19
