Tuesday - Fall Break

 

Wednesday - Completing the Square   Go over the bell work. Work examples on the board on how to complete the square to solve quadratic equations. Work practice problems in class together. The students will work on worksheet 7-3, #s 10-20 even in class. The teacher will assist students needed. After the students complete the worksheet, we will go over it together. Homework will be assigned.

Thursday - Completing the Square and the Quadratic Formula   Check and go over the bell work and homework problems. Work examples on the board on how to use the quadratic formula to solve quadratic equations. Work practice problems in class together. The students will complete the problems on worksheet 7-4, #s 1-5, 8-12 in class. After the students complete the worksheet, we will go over it together. Homework will be assigned.

Assignment: Homework - page 311, old textbook, #s 11-27 odd

 

Friday - Completing the Square and the Quadratic Formula   Check and go over the bell work and homework problems. The students will complete the practice problems on page 342, old textbook, #s 42- 48 even, and #s 54-60 even on completing the square and the quadratic formula. The teacher will assist students as needed. After the students complete the practice problems, we will go over them together. Homework will be assigned.
