Tuesday - Factoring Quadratic Expressions   Check and go over the bell work and homework problems. Go over examples on the board on how to factor out the GCF, factor the difference of 2 squares, and factor the sum and difference of 2 cubes. Work practice problems together in class. The students will complete a worksheet, #s 2-30 even in class. After the students complete the problems, we will go over them together. Homework will be assigned.

Wednesday - Factoring Quadratic Expressions   Check and go over the bell work and homework problems. Go over examples on how to factor trinomials using the tic tac toe method. Work practice problems together in class. The students will complete the problems on page 233, old textbook, #s 32-50 even in class. After the students complete the problems, we will go over them together. Homework will be assigned.

Thursday - Factoring Quadratic Expressions   Check and go over the bell work and homework problems. Go over examples on how to use the zero product property to find the zeros of quadratic functions. Work practice problems in class together. The students will complete the problems on pages 296 and 297, #s 41-57 odd and 58-86 even in class. If the students do not finish all the problems in class, they will complete them for homework.

Friday - Factoring and the Zero Product Property   Check and go over the bell work and homework problems. The students will take a quiz after we go over the homework. The students will work on additional practice problems on factoring and the zero product property. The students will complete worksheet 5.3, #s 2-30 even in class. The teacher will assist as necessary. After the students complete the worksheet, we will go over it together.
