Monday - Composition of Functions   Check and go over the bell work and homework. Go over examples on the board. Work practice problems in class together in class. The students will work the problems on page 114, old textbook, #s 1-9 in class. After the students complete the problems, we will go over them together. Homework will be assigned.

Tuesday - Review Functions   Check and go over the bell work and homework problems. The students will get the review sheet to work on in class. The students will work the review problems on the board and explain how they got their answers. The teacher will evaluate the students with oral questions and responses. If the students do not complete the review sheet, they will complete it for homework.
Assignment: Homework - complete the review sheet for the test on functions

 

Wednesday - Test on Functions   Check and go over the review sheet with the students before the test. After reviewing, the students will take the test. 

 

Thursday - Solve Systems of Equations by Graphing   Check and go over the bell work. Work examples on the board on how to graph systems of linear equations. Work practice problems together in class. The students will work the problems on page 161, old textbook, #s 14, 16, 18, 20 in class. After the students complete the problems, we will go over them together. Homework will be assigned.

Friday - Solve Systems of Equations by Substitution   Check and go over the bell work and homework problems. Work examples on the board on how to use the substitution method. Work practice problems together in class. The students will work the problems on page 161, old textbook, #s 25-35 odd in class. After the students complete the problems, we will go over them together. Homework will be assigned.
