Monday - Solve systems of equations by Elimination   Check and go over the bell work and homework problems. Work examples on the board on how to use the elimination method. Work practice problems in class together. The students will work the problems on page 169, old textbook, #s 9-25 odd in  class. After the students complete the problems, we will go over them together. Homework will be assigned.

Tuesday - Solve Systems of Equations by Graphing, Substitution, and Elimination   Check and go over the bell work and homework problems. The students will complete a worksheet on solving systems of equations. After  the students complete the worksheet, we will go over it together. Homework will be assigned.
Assignment: Homework - pages 204 and 205, old textbook, #s 2-20 even

 

Wednesday - Continue Systems of Equations   Check and go over the bell work and the homework problems. Give the students the review sheet to work on in class. Teacher will assist students as necessary. Homework - complete the review sheet and review your notes for the test.

Thursday - Test on Systems of Equations   Check the review sheet for a homework grade. Go over the review sheet with the students before the test. After reviewing, the students will take the test.

Friday - Art in Algebra - Check bell work. Students will make up any missing assignments from the nine weeks. Students will complete an art in Algebra project.
