Tuesday - First Nine Weeks Exam

 

Wednesday - Sums, Differences, and Scalar Multiplication of Matrices   Work examples on the board. Work practice problems in class together. The students will complete a practice worksheet on matrices in class. After the students complete the practice worksheet, we will go over it together. Homework will be assigned.
Assignment: Homework - pages 221 and 222, old textbook, #s 12-40 even 

 

Thursday - Multiply Matrices   Check and go over the bell work and homework problems. Work examples on the board. Work practice problems in class together. The students will complete a worksheet on multiplying matrices in class. After the students complete the practice worksheet, we will go over it together. Homework will be assigned.

Friday - Multiply Matrices, Find the Determinant of a Matrix   Check and go over the bell work and homework problems. Work examples on the board on how to find the determinant of a matrix. Work practice problems in class together. The students will be given some problems to work in class that involve multiplying matrices and finding the determinant of a 2x2 and 3x3 matrix. After the students complete the problems, we will go over them together. Homework will be assigned.
